More expensive products than before in Spain because of war in Ukraine
Supply chain problems, increases in energy prices and raw material costs encourage the price of some important products in Spain. Here's the way the war in Ukraine can affect your food store and other daily costs.
Buying staple food products such as bread, milk or pasta can immediately hit the wallet people harder, because the Ukrainian crisis causes a disruption to the supply chain and increases energy bills.

1. Wheat products such as bread and pasta
Russia and Ukraine are two top wheat exporters of the world. When Russian troops stormed Ukraine, global chain supply was given at risk and wheat prices jumped to the highest level since 2012.
A total of 65 percent of wheat imported into Spain came from Ukraine. Wheat prices have risen 25 percent in recent months, and in the past two weeks, has increased by 10 percent, according to antenna 3 news.
2. Gasoline

Ukraine provides Spanish with lots of sunflower oil. About 63 percent of sunflowers imported to Spain come from Ukraine.
This may not look like the most important product, but many other food products contain sunflower oil.
5. Housing
The increase in fuel prices will have an overall impact on all products and commodities, resulting in construction costs for new buildings also increase.

6. Meat, milk, eggs and other animal products
